Train Sim World 2 - Freestyle Livery Designer Competition

We’re celebrating the upcoming Creators Club with a brand-new Livery Designer competition!

Put your creative hat on, start thinking of an all-new and original idea, and get crafting as the theme for this Livery Designer competition is Freestyle.

Over the past year, we have seen a plethora of different themes for our previous Livery designer competitions and had some amazing entries for all of them, each one has tested the community’s skills and interpretation of the brief. We have been blown away by your incredible efforts. This time we thought we would open the doors to your creativity that little bit wider. This competition’s theme is freestyle, meaning you can submit an entry of anything you like. Within the usual rules of course!

We want to see your artistic creations using the Livery Designer tool. Create a livery of your own design and you could be one of three lucky winners who receive some cool Train Sim World 2 merch.

To enter and be in with a chance of winning, here’s what you need to do...

Start the Livery Designer in Train Sim World 2 and choose a locomotive or wagon for your canvas. Note you cannot use the DB G6 Diesel Shunter, DB BR 403 ICE 3, or DB BR 406 ICE 3M for this competition.

Use the tool to create your livery. This must be completely original, void of any copyrighted material or intellectual property, it must not be a real-world livery and must, of course, be inoffensive.

Once you’ve completed your design, take a screenshot in-game showing off your new custom creation. You can use Railfan Shots to make capture easy, see a guide on these here.

Once you have created an account and are logged in head to the Train Sim World 2 page and follow us. Near the top of the page, you will see the projects button, follow that and you will find the competition page. When you feel you have the best Shot of your creation hit the create submission button and complete the form, and remember to upload images of your wonderful livery and leave contact details so we can contact you if you are a lucky winner! The closing date for entries is 4:00 pm GMT on 10th February 2022.

We are giving the community the difficult task of choosing the best liveries, it's now up to you to decide! To cast your vote, create an account at https://app.player-state.com and once logged in head to the Train Sim World 2 page and follow us. Near the top of the page, you will see the projects button, follow that and you will find the competition page. You will have from 4:00 pm GMT on 10th February 2022 until 4:00 pm GMT on 17th February 2022 to cast your vote.

Winners will be announced on Trainsimworld.com.
